Choosing plough bolts and nuts

Size, thread and strength class

Match the thread diameter and pitch, length, head shape and strength class to the plough specification. An M14x2 nut designation describes thread diameter and pitch; the DIN standard alone does not specify every dimension. Select a nut that matches the bolt thread.

Check the seat in the wear part

The countersunk head, square neck or nibs must match the seat in the share or other wear part. Follow the manufacturer’s installation and tightening specifications. If identification is uncertain, provide the part number and photographs of the old bolt with measurements.
